Hey guys,
I’m so excited about what God is going to do in and through us next week at Passion 2012! Here’s a few things that you need to know about things for next week:
- Our lodging arrangements have hit a small snag. The church that someone offered for us to stay in turns out to not have a shower facility 🙂 so we’re working on an alternative. We know that God knew this was coming a long time ago and has a plan to work things out, so just pray that we’d figure out what that is. Hang tight while we figure things out and I’ll let you know asap what we’re gonna do. Thanks in advance for your flexibility in this!
- Speaking of lodging: regardless of how things play out, it looks like we’ll probably be staying in a church so plan on bringing sleeping bags, air mattresses, whatever you need to make yourself comfy so you can get a decent night’s sleep. I’ll provide a more detailed packing list by tomorrow.
- Passion has asked everyone that’s attending bring a bath towel (new or lightly used) and a pack of new socks (men’s, women’s, or children’s) to donate. These are being given to Atlanta area shelters to help the needs of the homeless in Atlanta and will be a huge blessing to a lot of people, so plan on doing that if you can.
- 268generation.com/acclimate – here you can find scrolling passages of Scripture to read to prepare your heart for what God wants to do in you next week. There’s also a daily prayer focus with a Scripture passage to read and pray through. follow along with other Passion attenders who are all reading the same Scripture and praying the same things.
