Breakaway is an annual gathering of hundreds of students from Southwest Virginia for worship, teaching, and service projects. This year Ed Newton is speaking and Attaboy will lead worship along with Chase Gentes, illusionist Drew Worsham will emcee and we’ll have concerts from Humble Tip (Liberty University) as well as Manafest.
We’ll meet at GraceLife Friday afternoon at 4:00 to head to Roanoke and come back Saturday night between 10:30 and 11:00pm. All of the large group time (worship, speaking, concerts, etc.) will happen at First Baptist Church in Roanoke, VA. We’ll stay overnight in a hotel near the church overnight on Friday and do some small group Bible studies in the rooms. During the afternoon on Saturday we’ll have some free time divided between some local missions projects as well as some fun time.
More details will come out soon regarding the hotel information as well as the Saturday afternoon plans. Total cost is $70 if you sign up before Wednesday, February 22 and $80 up until the day of the event*. This includes registration for the conference, hotel, t-shirt, food, and transportation.
