We love to provide our church members with as many ways to be involved in leading worship as possible. That’s why we provide a variety of opportunities for people who feel God leading them to be a part of this vital ministry.
In our worship times at GraceLife it is hoped that every attendee will be a participant and not just an observer. The “action” of worship happens between the people in the congregation and God. Those on stage are only serving as prompters to help YOU have a meaningful worship experience.
A dynamic part of our corporate worship times is the Celebration Choir. The choir’s mission is to (1) encourage believers to worship Almighty God, (2) magnify the message of salvation, and (3) serve as a true companion of the preached Word. Members and guests of GraceLife Baptist Church are invited to join the ministry of our Celebration Choir.
Part of our worship leadership is from the band which consists of a terrific blend of instruments. At GraceLife we believe every Christian has been blessed with a gift that was meant to be used to serve Christ. Those with the gift of playing their musical praise are encouraged to pursue being a part of this exciting element in worship.
Sunday nights are often led by a group of 4-6 singers. The smaller group (rather than a full choir) helps to provide a more intimate worship experience.
By attending our worship services from week to week you will notice musical presentations other than from the choir, band or congregation. This “special music” may be a vocal or instrumental solo, duet, trio, etc. This is another way for people to express their God-given talents to encourage the congregation in worship. It is important that the hearts and lives of these individuals be right before the Lord. Typically, this music is presented by those who are active in the Music Ministry of the church.
There are a variety of other opportunities for service for other ages as well. For grade-school age children, we offer Children’s Choirs that meet on Sunday evenings throughout the school year. For middle and high school students, we have a several different music and motion teams.
