Message: Tonight we combined HSM and MSM for iLLUMINATE! Ninety teenagers and youth workers from GraceLife and three others churches (Cambria, Good Shepherd, and Trinity) met in room 211 for a time of worship. Jonathan spoke on making an influence on the world. Our main text came from 2 Timothy 2:1-13. The main points are 1) The Source of our Strength (2 Timothy 2:1, Acts 4:12, John 15:5). 2) The Multiplication of our Influence (2 Timothy 2:2), 3) The Price we Pay (2 Timothy 2:3-7), 4) The Center of our Lives (2 Timothy 2:8-10), 5) The Promise that Endures (2 Timothy 2:11-13).

Message: Tonight out text was from Psalm 139:13-17. We talked about some questions (How many of us have ever wanted to change something about ourselves? Have we given thought to spiritual change? Do we see ourselves as God’s creation? Do we spend more time trying to fit into the worlds mold or Jesus mold?) The main points are 1) Sincere Faith (2 Timothy 1:5-6), 2) Spirit Filled Witness (2 Timothy 1:7), and 3) Sanctified Life (2 Timothy 1:9).

About our Showing

We are showing Courageous for free on Sunday evening, May 6. Although you don’t need a ticket to come, tickets will be available at the Connection Center to use as invitations for your friends and family.

Message: Tonight was our third Sunday in our “One Another” series. Our main text was Ephesians 4:1-3 with the focus coming from verse 2 with “bearing with one another.” The main points were 1) Bearing with one another requires concern (1 Corinthians 12:25, Romans 15:7). 2) Bearing with one another is natural for the Christian (Ephesians 4:1). 3) Bearing with one another requires openness (Galatians 6:2, James 5:16, Ephesians 4:32). 4) Bearing with one another leads to harmony (Romans 12:16-17, Mark 9:50, Galatians 5:15, Colossians 3:9, James 4:11, James 5:9, Romans 14:13).
